*The Defiant Agents* follows Travis Fox, a young Apache archaeologist who volunteers for a daring American experiment in the Cold War race to claim alien worlds. Given the Redax treatment to awaken his ancestral memories, Travis and his companions crash-land on the mysterious planet Topawa, where Soviet agents have also arrived. As they struggle to survive, they uncover remnants of an ancient alien civilization whose mind-controlling machinery threatens their free will. Strengthened by his Apache heritage, Travis must resist the insidious alien influence, outwit his Russian rivals, and lead his people toward freedom and a new future among the stars.
