"Chemical Secret" by Tim Vicary tells the story of John Duncan, a biologist who takes a job at a chemical factory to support his two teenage children. When he discovers that the factory is dumping poisonous waste into the river, he faces a difficult moral choice. Although the chemicals harm wildlife, his employer offers him a higher salary, and he chooses to stay silent. Years later, tragedy strikes when his daughter Christine, who swam in the polluted river, gives birth to a disabled baby. John finally understands that some mistakes can never be undone, and money cannot buy back what is lost.
