Dory, the friendly but forgetful blue tang fish, suddenly remembers her long-lost parents and embarks on an extraordinary journey across the ocean to find them. With the help of her loyal friends Marlin and Nemo, she travels to the Marine Biology Institute in California, where she was born and raised. Along the way, Dory encounters Hank, a grumpy but kind-hearted octopus, Destiny, a near-sighted whale shark, and Bailey, a beluga whale who has lost his confidence. Despite countless challenges and her recurring memory lapses, Dory learns to embrace who she is, ultimately discovering that her differences make her special, and that family and friendship are life's greatest treasures.
