In Plum Lovin', Janet Evanovich's between-the-numbers novel, Trenton bounty hunter Stephanie Plum pursues Bernie Miller, a bail jumper threatening to leap off a rooftop. The mysterious Diesel offers a trade: he'll deliver Miller if Stephanie helps find Annie Hart, a reclusive matchmaker with extraordinary "Unmentionable" powers. When Annie falls mysteriously ill, Stephanie inherits her four lovelorn clients, each entangled in romantic chaos. Between disastrous stakeouts, her sister's frantic wedding preparations, and Diesel's unsettling charm, Stephanie races to mend broken hearts, nab her skip, and survive the supernatural intrigue that follows Diesel everywhere he goes.
