In C.S. Lewis's final chronicle of Narnia, a cunning ape named Shift discovers a lion's skin and deceives the gentle donkey Puzzle into impersonating Aslan. Through this fraudulent claim, Shift allies himself with the Calormenes to enslave Narnia's talking beasts. Young King Tirian, the last ruler of Narnia, fights to expose the deception, aided by Eustace and Jill from our world. As darkness gathers and Narnia faces its final hour, the true Aslan appears to summon the end and judge every creature. Beyond the ruins lies a greater Narnia—real, eternal, and glorious—where the faithful shall dwell forever in Aslan's country.
