Set in the quiet Dutch settlement of Sleepy Hollow, Washington Irving's classic tale follows Ichabod Crane, a lanky and superstitious schoolteacher who vies for the hand of Katrina Van Tassel, the beautiful daughter of a wealthy farmer.
