Job

Job

In the land of Uz lives Job, a man of unmatched righteousness and wealth. When the Adversary challenges that his faith is merely purchased by prosperity, heaven permits a devastating trial. In a single day, Job loses his herds, his servants, and his beloved children; soon, agonizing disease consumes his body. Yet upon the ash heap, he refuses to curse God. Three friends arrive to console him but instead indict him, insisting his suffering must be punishment for hidden sin. Job cries out for justice, questioning heaven's silence—until a voice speaks from the whirlwind, revealing mysteries beyond human comprehension, and ultimately restoring all he lost, twofold.
