The Golden Fleece

The Golden Fleece

The Golden Fleece is a gripping retelling of the ancient Greek myth of Jason and the Argonauts. Young Jason, rightful heir to the throne of Iolcus, is sent on an impossible quest by the usurper King Pelias: to retrieve the legendary Golden Fleece from distant Colchis. Aboard the ship Argo, Jason gathers Greece's greatest heroes—Heracles, Orpheus, and Atalanta among them—and faces harpies, clashing rocks, and deadly trials. In Colchis, the sorceress Medea, consumed by love, betrays her own father to help Jason seize the prize. Yet triumph breeds betrayal, and their story spirals toward passion, vengeance, and tragedy.
